Take a tour of the new Cape Town Football Stadium, which successfully hosted 8 matches of the 2010 FIFA Football World Cup. Follow the new walkway to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or along Green Point into the City centre.
The V+A Waterfront, a working harbour built in 1860 is one of the City's biggest attractions, offering a variety of restuarants, pubs, a brewery, shopping centres, craft markets, cinemas, live entertainment, jazz, boat trips, the SA Maritime Museum and the Two Oceans Aquarium.

Browse the many antique, furniture and coffee shops along KALK BAY and see what the "catch of the day" is at Kalk Bay Harbour where dozens of Fishing vessels launch every day weather permitting. Then on to SIMONSTOWN, where the SA NAVAL BASE is situated and which hosts the world famous BOULDERS BEACH, known for its thriving colony of African PENGUINS and wind sheltered, safe beaches. Cruise along beautiful drive to the CAPE POINT NATURE RESERVE (keep a look out for the whales!) Proclaimed a nature reserve in 1938, it encompasses 7750 hectares of rich and varied flora and fauna, with 40 kilometres of coastline. After visiting the most South-westerly point of Africa follow the coast over Chapmans Peak to HOUT BAY, where the harbour retains the old world atmosphere of a traditional fishing village, beautiful beaches and restaurants (try out some local Snoek and chips). Take a boat trip to Duiker Island, which supports about 600 000 Cape Fur seals, the largest colony in the Western Cape. Then its back via CAMPS BAY, (playground for the influx of beautiful and famous faces in summer), to stopover for a few sundowner cocktails before deciding on the evenings entertainment.
